Yes Christmas will be over by then but you’re in luck! Blackpool is running its Winter event until New Year’s day. There are some great rides this year like the Booster and the Sky Dance. You will get great views of the town and the Tower there. Little ones will also bee able to have fun with some of the light shows. There are rides for them too.
Of course, running around or flying about will get the family hungry. Again, plenty to eat. There are delicious Yorkshire puddings with a choice of roast beef and turkey. The usual pancakes and hot dogs as well. For those with a sweet tooth, the toasting station will be a joy.
There are more exotic chalets with specialties from Greece, Holland and Germany. Talking of which, there is a covered bar if you fancy some Christmas beer from Bavaria.

NYE Gala Show at VIVA Blackpool
When it comes to West End style shows, VIVA Blackpool is a sure winner! The venue on the Prom offers a wide range of entertainment all year long. On New Year Eve, the flamboyant Leye D Johns will be your host. For sure, it will look and sound like Vegas and make Blackpool that twin city that never sleeps!

Family party at the Winter Gardens
Out of all the brilliant venues in Blackpool, the world famous Winter Gardens are just around the corner. Just 5 minutes walk, going up Hull Road and then left onto Coronation Street. You cross Albert Road and voilà! For New Year, the venue is running a family event. This includes party games, Children’s entertainers, even a bouncy castle. There will be live music and a DJ of course.
The price for a family of 5 is £95 if you book online. Room 11 at the Heathley hotel can sleep all the members of the family and the new year rate just stays the same.
